Michelle was fortunate to be involved with IFOSuD from its beginning. As the Executive
Director of Vessel Christian Foundation, she provided administrative and fundraising
support to the founders, and it quickly became one of her favorite projects. The
organization’s focus to teach farmers in Haiti how to build sustainable businesses,
ensures they and their families can not only meet their basic needs but also thrive. This
creates opportunities to share the love and peace of Christ with Haitians who have
struggled with natural disasters, gang violence, and voodoo.
Michelle’s faith in Christ blossomed through Campus Crusade for Christ at the
University of North Dakota. Through Cru, the message of salvation resonated deeply,
and she prayed for Jesus to enter her heart. Throughout life’s challenges, God’s firm
grip on her heart has remained constant, and the Holy Spirit has provided her peace
that transcends all understanding.
Michelle currently lives in Shakopee, MN, with her husband, Jonathan, and works for
PACE Fundraising as a senior consultant. They enjoy keeping up with their three adult
children, who are all in college.
