Relationship with Reach Global

IFOSuD was chosen as “the successfully working agriculturally oriented group that ReachGlobal Haiti will develop a relationship with to facilitate transformation of Haiti through an agricultural platform.”   This statement came out of a meeting in July 2013, when representatives of Friends of IFOSuD met with the Evangelical Free Church of America – Haitian Consortium led by Steve Spellman, ReachGlobal Leader, Southern Brazil & Haiti.  Here is our Grant Evaluation.

Relationship with Awana

IFOSuD has partnered with Awana to reach Haiti’s youth spiritually through Future Farmers of Haiti. FFH staff has been trained by the Awana staff, and they use the curriculum weekly at the FFH meetings.

Relationship with Lebensmission

The Lebensmission (“Jesus for Haiti”) has been involved in Haiti since the 1980’s. It works with children’s villages in Gonaives. Following the 2021 earthquake they were looking for a trustworthy organization to cooperate with to help the population. Lebensmission has partnered with IFOSuD to sponsor livestock grants in the Jeremie area.

Relationship with Partners Worldwide

Partners Worldwide is a global community of Christians dedicated to ending poverty by harnessing the power of business and sustainable partnerships. This partnership seeks to strengthen IFOSuD’s efforts to advance agriculture by empowering farmers through increased crop productivity, improved market access, access to capital, and the adoption of innovative agricultural technologies. It aims to build resilient farming communities and promote sustainable economic opportunities by offering vital resources, including financial support, technical expertise, and capacity-building initiatives.
This partnership will allow IFOSuD to strengthen the capacity of our former graduates. We were saddened to see how these famers had knowledge, but very few financial means left to make significant investments. Hence, this partnership is aiming to enhance their positions in the agriculture value chain and to foresee further value added activities.
